Good read. Started off brilliantly, I really liked the writer’s no-nonsense style of writing but it felt a bit rushed towards the end. Not sure I bought the final romance (especially as Lucy didn’t seem too fussed by it ether) but I guess it tied things off. Also, despite all the hilarious and cringe-worthy relationships she went through, Lucy sounded a little too perfect. Might be because it was written from a first person point of view, but I rolled my eyes a couple of times at how “great” she and everyone else thought she was. Dropping in a few self-effacing lines didn’t really do the trick. But overall, I enjoyed the story and would recommend it to anyone who thinks they’ve had crappy relationships – I bet you Lucy’s had worse!
