I read this just so I can say I finished the series. And my overall review of the series? Repetitious but oddly not as horrible as I thought it would be. I would have given the final book a 2.5 but it was saved a little by the burst of action about three quarters of the way in. None of it was believable but it helped pull the story up. I still didn’t like Christian or Anastasia by the end of the series. He was a control freak from start to finish and she was an enabler. Maybe their problems will get sorted out in their fictional world in the years to come but when the book ended, it left things too unhealthy for me to be comfortable. That said, nothing I’ve written about this series is going to stop people from reading the books so I’ll shut up now before I go into full rant mode.
